Details about Wendy Vecchi's Classes

We have been waiting an entire year to host Wendy Vecchi, Senior Designer for Ranger and she contacted us last week!! We are offering three amazing classes from Wendy Vecchi! They are Friday, October 1st and Saturday, October 2nd.

Check out the details from her classes below and make sure you sign up quickly as she has a maximum number of students per class. Just call the store to sign up. 847-395-3355.





Friday, October 1st from 5-9pm

This mixed media class has it all...grungeboard, grungepaper, the new studio 490 art parts, a little lace and plenty of stamping too.You'll learn to combine Tim's distress inks with Ranger's pigment ink to create this shabby chic dimensional home decor piece.This fun technique can be used on many surfaces and creates a whole new color palette for...making art!


Students need to bring:
craft sheet
heat tool
scissors for cutting grunge (I love Tim's Tonic)
favorite adhesive for paper/grunge
blending tool/replacement foam pads

Saturday, October 2nd from 9am-1pm
4x4 Book

Here's a peek at a mini book that's bursting with grungy goodness.Join me and you'll create this little book that you'll be proud to display, or maybe give as a gift to that special someone.

We'll ink, stamp, stickle and create our own embellishments to add to the pages. We'll also use some brand new trinkets from Maya Road. If you like mini...if you want to learn how to make your own custom embellishments...if you like grunge...if you like to stamp...this is the class for YOU.

students need to bring...

Ranger craft sheet
scissors for cutting grunge ( I LOVE tim's tonic the best)
wet adhesive of your choice
black sharpie
waterproof pen for pen stitching ( I use American Crafts precision pen)
blending tool with replacement foam pads

Saturday 2:30 -5:30pm

YOU ARE an artist...so let the world know...

We'll start with the brand new studio 490 art parts spool and create this VERY FUN home decor art...Once completed, it's PERFECT to display in your creative space.

The holidays are coming...this would also make a GREAT gift for an artsy friend.

We'll use lots of stamps, inks, paint, stickles and grunge. I HOPE you can join the fun!


students need to bring:

If you want to attend all three classes, we are offering them for $150 with a free goodie bag. Friday night is also our Late night Crop, so you could take the class and use the remaining time to crop. Just a thought.
